In this site you will learn about some of the options available to women during pregnancy and birth.  Education goes a very long way towards the success of any venture.  The once-in-a-lifetime experience of bringing a child into the world is one worth preparing for!

A great journey occurs most often with a guide who has been there before.  Someone who is familiar with the territory, who can lead you to the beautiful places and help you avoid the "tourist traps."  Let me walk with you on this path and share my knowledge about pregnancy and birth.

Ever study a foreign language?  Let me teach you an important word.  Can you say "doula"?  It's pronounced doo-lah, kind of like hula.  It's a Greek word that speaks of a woman serving another woman.  In contemporary terms, a Doula is a woman who has training, knowledge and experience that equip her to give emotional, physical and informational support to women during pregnancy and birth.
